The garden design process is a straightforward, collaborative and enjoyable process for all parties. After the initial enquiry, we can have a chat over the phone about your requirements and then a meeting is arranged on site. This is so we can get a feel for the space and talk through any visions you may have or thoughts on what you want to achieve from the space. We will then send some ideas over to you regarding how the space may work best and if the client wishes to go ahead, from then on the fun starts!
STAGE I
Site Survey, Consultation & Brief Development
Once instructed, a site survey will be carried out and a CAD drawing up of the garden/site will be made in order to begin production of design concepts.
A consultation meeting will take place with the client(s) to discuss the brief and acknowledgement of must haves and desires will be developed in to a brief for the client to sign off.
At this point a meeting may occur with the landscaper, especially if the garden/site has some tricky elements to bear in mind.
Budget constraints and conformation of landscaping start date will also be discussed.
STAGE II
Creation of CAD Concept Designs & Mood Boards
Creation of initial CAD 3d concept(s) plus in-depth mood-board for illustration of specific design concepts. This will offer a to-scale, 3d view of your potential new garden, from all angles including inside, plus images of real life examples to accompany.
Depending on the project, more than one concept may be designed and presented to give the client the best choice of design.
Presentation meeting with client to discuss and talk through any amends or changes, additionally at this meeting hard landscaping materials will also be discussed. Examples will be brought to site and additionally we can visit local merchants’ showrooms if required.
STAGE III
Masterplan and Quotation
Working up of the finalised concept plans in to more detailed master plans which will be passed to our trusted landscaper to produce an accurate quotation.
Any discussions of master plan elements, materials, any laying patterns, intricate details, followed by a meeting to discuss the landscaper quote.
